From 5 to 7pm on Wellsboro’s First Friday, Aug. 3, a book release party is being held at From My Shelf Books & Gifts at 7 East Avenue in Wellsboro for “Molly, The Dog With Diabetes,” a book for children written by Kevin Coolidge, bookstore owner. Attending will be Molly, a seven-year-old dachshund mix who is the star of the new book and her human, Sue Powers. Available now and on Aug. 3 will be two new books in Coolidge’s children’s book series. “Totally Ninja Raccoons Meet The Little Green Men” takes place at Cherry Springs State Park, near Galeton. “Totally Ninja Raccoons Meet The Jersey Devil,” a creature from New Jersey folklore, happens on the Pine Creek Rail Trail.
