Huck and Finn, the bookstore cats at From My Shelf Books, have received new accolades. The hardest working cats in the book business have been asked to become honorary members of the Feline Historical Society.
Huck and Finn, along with 14 other cats from 12 bookstore across the United States have been asked by Thunderstone books to join. It's to celebrate Dan Greenburg's middle grade novel, "The Only True Biography of Benjamin Franklin, Told by His Cat, Missy Hooper (with Hardly Any Help from Dan Greenburg)"
Huck, the black and white cat, received the email from the publisher. The email made no mention of his brother Finn, but Huck made sure the offer was for his brother as well, but only after letting Finn know he was much more famous than he was.
Huck and Finn are honored to join the cats-only society and very much enjoyed reading Greenburg's book with their tall cat, Kevin Coolidge. Though Finn had to take frequent breaks for treats.
Huck is now considering working on his memoirs with mew, but Finn is satisfied with the book he shares with his brother, "Huck & Finn, Bookstore Cats" and his cameos in The Totally Ninja Raccoon series and "Bookstore Cats"
