FROM MY SHELF BOOKS CATS ARE INCLUDED IN "BOOKSTORE CATS" WRITTEN BY BRANDON SCHULTZ

Huck and Finn, the cats at From My Shelf Books & Gifts at 7 East Avenue in Wellsboro, are famous. Just ask them. These rascally cats are about to be even more famous. They are going to be in a book called "Bookstore Cats" about bookstore cats, of course.

In January of this year, the writer, Brandon Schultz, contacted Kevin Coolidge, owner of From My Shelf Books. "He had heard about our bookstore cat, Hobo, and wanted to include him in his upcoming book," Coolidge said.

Hobo, the bookstore cat at From My Shelf Books for almost eight years, was known across the United States and even overseas. He was an ambassador and a children's author. When he crossed the rainbow bridge, Hobo's obituary, written by Kevin's wife Kasey, was published in the Wellsboro Gazette.

Huck and Finn will grace the pages of "Bookstore Cats," which will be published in September of this year. Those who wish, can pre-order it now at From My Shelf Books. "Huck and Finn will be happy to autograph it when it arrives," Kevin said.

Brandon Schultz loves cats, bookstores, and especially bookstores run by cats. Among other things he is a book publisher, travel writer and ice cream enthusiast. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with a cat named Lucy.

"Bookstore Cats" is Schultz's fourth book. He wrote "Cooking for Two: Your Cat and You" and "Cooking for Two: Your Dog and You," duel species cooking books with different meals to cook that are safe and palatable for a pet. He also authored "Taco Revolution" with over 100 recipes and variations on tacos for people.
