Bookfest Author: Ann Myers (AKA Annie Brucklacher!)

We're excited about all our Bookfest authors, but especially about our chance to host Ann Myers. Ann Myers is the pen name for Ann Perramond, but if you grew up in Wellsboro you know her as Annie Brucklacher. I grew up with Ann, and she's a close friend of my sister. From My Shelf Books is thrilled to be selling her book series and to have her at Wellsboro Bookfest.

Ann just happens to be visiting her parents during Bookfest and will be one of the attending authors for Bookfest 2016 on November 5th from 9AM to 3PM. The is her first mystery series, but she's published with William Morrow & Company, and it's a great publisher to be beginning a writing career. We hope for some more great things for Ann.

Ann writes the Santa Fe Café Mysteries. The first book in the series, Bread of the Dead (2015), introduced café chef and reluctant amateur sleuth, Rita Lafitte. Rita and her friends stir up more trouble in Cinco de Mayhem (March 2016) and Feliz Navidead (October 25, 2016). Ann is native of Wellsboro, now lives in southern Colorado, where she enjoys cooking, crafts, and cozy mysteries.
